Living Independently for Today & Tomorrow (LIFTT) invites you to celebrate 34 years of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Signed into law on July 26, 1990, the ADA is a civil rights law that enshrined the rights of people with disabilities to have full access to all that American life has to offer.
The event will be on Friday, July 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at LIFTT's Billings location (1241 Crawford Drive)
- Enjoy hot dogs, snowcones, popcorn, cotton candy, food trucks, and a water slide.
- Learn more about the programs and services offered by LIFTT and over 30 other community organizations and businesses.
- Hear from community leaders and LIFTT consumers about the significance of the ADA and the importance of independent living services.
- Tour a Billings MET Transit Bus and Paratransit vehicles.
- Get Shingles, TDAP, COVID-19, and other common vaccines from RiverStone Health.
