Online via Zoom Webinar Platform

Description:

For thousands of years, people have been gathering at stadiums to watch sports. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Architectural Barriers Act (ABA) Standards specify accessibility requirements to ensure inclusion for all spectators and enables everyone to experience one of civilization’s oldest pastimes. The presenters of this webinar will cover the spectator’s experience at sporting events from a youth soccer game to the World Cup. Seating, assistive listening systems, ticketing/concessions, and access to areas of sport activity will all be addressed.

Video remote interpreting and real-time captioning will be provided in this webinar.

Questions can be submitted in advance of the session or may be posed during the live webinar.

Participants can also earn continuing education credits.
