Accessible Arts and Culture Initiative in Massachusetts

The Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) is the state arts council and promotes creative communities through arts and culture in Massachusetts by providing grants and services to community organizations. MCC worked with the New England ADA Center and the Institute for Human Centered Design to develop a new initiative called UP. The UP program aims to bring about a dramatic commitment to state-of-the-art accessibility and universal design through offering four full-day Immersion workshops on accessibility in the cultural sector, universal design, physical environments, inclusive information, inclusive communication, and inclusive programming.  For more information, go to https://www.massculturalcouncil.org.
