Description:
The Ability Walk and Roll will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The event begins with a one mile walk/roll around beautiful Walnut Hill Park. Persons with disabilities, their families, friends and caregivers are invited to participate as well as people who want to raise awareness of the many abilities of persons with disabilities. All attendees receive a FREE T-shirt and refreshments. There is also an informational fair with over 40 booths displaying products and services for persons with disabilities. There is a variety of entertainment provided for children and adults. It is totally funded by sponsorships and donations. The event is followed by a live concert.
