Three inter-connected studies will examine financial accessibility as an aspect of, and contributor to, community inclusion and participation. These are: (Study A) a quantitative, structured assessment and intervention study to objectively measure financial inclusion, (Study B) a qualitative, semi-structured set of interviews of people with disabilities to subjectively understand financial inclusion, and (Study C) a spatial analysis of financial service programs’ locations in the community to contextually understand financial inclusion. All studies will use a participatory action research framework with stakeholders from the disability and financial services communities informing the rigor and relevance of our work.
