Join the Pacific ADA Center for our final Lunch and Learn webinar of the year! This session is designed for people with disabilities, family members, and community members who attend events and gatherings.

We’ll talk about what makes an event, like meetings, parties, and holiday celebrations feel welcoming, accessible, and inclusive. You’ll hear real experiences, learn what to expect, and get ideas for how to ask for what you need so you can fully participate and enjoy events.

Learning objectives

Participants will:

  • Hear experiences from people with disabilities about what makes events feel accessible and welcoming

  • Learn what to look for in accessible online events and webinars

  • Understand what helps make in-person events easier to navigate and participate in

  • Explore ways to communicate your access needs and advocate for yourself at events

  • Discover how holiday parties and social gatherings can be inclusive and enjoyable for everyone
