Description:

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law on July 26, 1990, by President George H.W. Bush. Join Connecticut Department of Transportation, ADA Coalition of Connecticut, City of New Britain, WTS CT, CT ITE and the T2 Center for an anniversary celebration event to mark 34 years of ADA! This event will break down classroom walls and offer an outdoor experience for participants to hear how individuals are improving accessibility in communities. Hear updates from the federal, state and local levels including City of New Britain’s initiatives. The event also includes table exhibits with resources and hands-on activities.
