Description:

Public Rights of Way

Per the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), people with disabilities have the right to participate in all programs, services, and activities, but often face barriers to participation. Physical access starts before someone arrives at a building. Access starts with the public right of way. During this training, we will discuss the newly adopted Public Rights of Way Standards including but not limited to sidewalks and curb ramps.

This training is offered as a part of the ADA Coalition of Connecticut’s ADA Coordinator certification series for CT ADA Coordinators. Credits can be applied toward the national certificate.
