This landmark civil rights legislation prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life, including jobs, health, housing, technology, and all public and private places that are open to the general public. While great strides have been made, there is still work to be done. The Maryland Department of Disabilities policy directors will discuss successes and future opportunities for improvement.
