In 2017 the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) declared a public health emergency and announced a 5-Point Strategy To Combat the Opioid Crisis. Join us for this session as Attorneys from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Civil Rights, and Disability Rights Section discuss issues impacting persons with Opioid disorders and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The speakers will discuss Justice Department efforts to insure access to treatment and recovery programs.
