ADA and The Regulations of Massachusetts Architectural Access at ABX Boston

Event Date/Time:

Tuesday, November 15th, 2016 to Thursday, November 17th, 2016

Location:

Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, 415 Summer Street Boston, MA 02210

Description:

Confused about the differences between the ADA Standards and the regulations of the Massachusetts Architectural Access Board? You are not alone. One of these years the federal and state access requirements will harmonize, but until that happens we'll be offering this workshop. Critical issues include the required number of accessible entrances and accessible routes, when an elevator must be installed in new construction and alterations, when a limited-use/ limited-application can be used, alterations that catapult a project into full compliance with accessibility regulations and design differences for employee areas, ramps, toilet rooms, hotel bathrooms, and more.
