Overview of the Final Rule for Accessible Medical Diagnostic Equipment

This webinar will review the U.S. Access Board's accessibility standards for medical diagnostic equipment such as examination tables and chairs, weight scales, mammography equipment, and other imaging equipment. The webinar will also discuss the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ guidance information for health care providers regarding their responsibilities to make their services and facilities accessible to individuals with mobility disabilities under the ADA and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
