The Mid-Atlantic ADA Center is hosting the 25th annual Mid-Atlantic ADA Update in Tysons, Virginia from September 4 through September 6. The Mid-Atlantic ADA Update is the region's leading conference on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The conference features speakers from federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Justice, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the U.S. Access Board, as well as experts from state and local government, businesses, non-profits, and universities. The program offers a variety of breakout sessions on topics including business responsibilities and best practices, disability employment, accessible technology, healthcare access, and ADA implementation in state and local government and corrections and law enforcement agencies. This year's keynote speaker is director of Government and Compliance at Sprint Accessibility and former Obama administration official, Claudia Gordon.
The ADA Update is a great educational and networking opportunity for professionals and stakeholders who need the latest information on rights, responsibilities and best practices for implementation of the ADA.
