ADA Accessibility – Updating Old & Building New Parks & Facilities at the VT Conference on Recreation, Fairlee VT

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) supports the right and opportunity of people with disabilities to participate in their communities, which includes recreational activities. As part of the 73rd Annual Vermont Conference on Recreation, the workshop titled "ADA Accessibility – Updating Old & Building Parks & Facilities" will use real-life scenarios of recent ADA improvement projects to discuss common ADA issues and solutions. The panel will also discuss possible solutions to specific ADA challenges currently facing recreation organizations across Vermont.
