Various courses and customized training on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and disability-related topics, including the opportunity for education credit and/or certificates, such as continuing education units (CEU) and Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) are offered by the ADA National Network and through collaborative efforts by national, regional, and local Networks and Partners.

ADA Basic Building Blocks Webcourse

A free introductory webcourse that explores the legal requirements and spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). The course takes 2-3 hours and includes quizzes and a Post Test. Presented by the Southeast ADA Center.

A free, self-paced webcourse available 24/7 on the employment requirements in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including the important changes made to the ADA by the ADA Amendments Act of 2008. The course takes approximately 2.5 hours and includes real life scenarios, quizzes and a final exam. Presented by the New England ADA Center.

This online workshop available 24/7 provides an enhanced understanding of people with cognitive disabilities, makes sense of the ADA and legal responsibilities related to people with cognitive disabilities, and provides tools that can be applied in the workplace when addressing accommodations for people with cognitive disabilities. Presented by the Great Lakes ADA Center and the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Disability, Workplace & Employment Support Practice

Online professional development courses and certificate programs for managers, practitioners, advocates and policy makers in the disability field that are designed to improve and enhance effectiveness in supporting employment outcomes and greater economic self-sufficiency for people with disabilities. Each course consists of interactive multimedia presentations and downloadable PowerPoint course materials presented by instructors from the Employment and Disability Institute (EDI) at Cornell University's Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) School.

Federal Court Concepts Training Module
