Disability Pride Virtual Pennsylvania

Each year in June, celebrate People with Disabilities through a variety of accessible and inclusive programs culminating at the end of the week with a parade and a full day of family friendly, accessible activities with our organization, Disability Pride Philadelphia Inc (a 501c3 nonprofit). This year, we celebrate Disability Pride and the 30th Anniversary of the Americans With Disabilities Act. The in-person gathering celebrations in Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Pittsburgh have been cancelled due to social distancing and COVID-19, so we are excited to move to a virtual platform with even more access, and to engage all Pennsylvanians and create a variety of month long activities and programming. Disability Pride Virtual PA kicks off on June 27 with a virtual flag raising pep rally, followed by a month long calendar of accessible virtual events, workshops, and participatory activities ending on the 30th Anniversary of the ADA, July 26, 2020.
