In conjunction with the 30th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Mr. Arman Ali, a pioneer activist for the rights of persons with disabilities in India, will meet with counterparts at the Harkin Institute, Des Moines, Iowa for a virtual discussion. They will share information and advocacy strategies for integrating education, employment opportunities, legal rights, awareness, and accessibility concerns of persons with disabilities. The event also will touch upon the effects of COVID-19 on persons with disabilities in India and Iowa.
