Events:
Event 1: The Wheelchair Zone Relay
The Barrier: Physical Mobility & Environment Navigation.
The Setup: A track divided into 4 specific segments (The Straightaway, The Slalom, The Narrow Lane, and The Final Sprint).
The Action: Each teammate is assigned one segment. Teammate 1 starts in the chair; once they cross into Zone 2, they must exit the chair and Teammate 2 must enter and continue.
The Score: The clock runs continuously from the start of Player 1 to the finish of Player 4.
Event 2: Penalty Bowling
The Barrier: Fine Motor Precision & Pressure Management.
The Setup: A bowling lane with 10 pins.
The Action: Each of the 4 teammates gets 2 balls to knock down as many pins as possible while seated in a wheelchair.
The Penalty: For every pin left standing after a player’s turn, the team must remain "Frozen" for 5 seconds before the next teammate is allowed to take their turn.
The Score: Total time from the first ball thrown to the expiration of the final player's penalty clock.
Event 3: The "Gridlock" Path
The Barrier: Cognitive Processing & Non-Verbal Communication.
The Setup: A 4x4 grid of squares on the ground. Only one teammate (The Captain) is shown a "Secret Map" of the safe path across the grid.
The Action: The other 3 teammates must cross the grid one by one. No talking or pointing is allowed. The Captain must use non-verbal cues (e.g., claps, whistles, or a bell) to guide teammates.
The Rule: If a teammate steps on a "wrong" square, the judge blows a whistle, and that teammate must return to the start of the grid.
The Score: Total time until all 4 members have successfully crossed the grid.
Event 4: The Sensory Assembly
The Barrier: Neurodiversity & Sensory Processing.
The Setup: A table with 4 distinct tasks that must be completed simultaneously by the team.
The Tasks:
The Tactile Sort: Sorting 10 objects by texture (Rough vs. Smooth) while blindfolded.
The Dyslexia Decoder: Reading a scrambled-font paragraph to find 3 specific "hidden" words.
The Motor-Skill Thread: Threading 5 large beads onto a string while wearing thick, heavy gloves.
The Audio Focus Quiz: Identifying 3 specific sounds from a "noisy" audio track playing through headphones.
The Score: The clock stops only when all 4 tasks are verified as "Correct" by the judge.
