Celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) featuring special speakers and City of Roanoke officials, including Karen Michalski-Karney; Council Member Vivian Sanchez-Jones; and Mayor Joseph Cobb. The Mayor will also present Blue Ridge Independent Living Center (BRILC) with a proclamation commemorating the 35th Anniversary of the ADA. Kid Again Ice Cream & Sweets will be on-site to provide free frozen novelties. The event will begin promptly at
11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 21, at the Henrietta Lacks Plaza. The plaza is nestled between the
Municipal and Commonwealth buildings at 410 3rd St. SW, Roanoke.
