Celebrating the 35th ADA Anniversary Art Showcase, Tom Olin Interview - Los Angeles, CA

The Department on Disability is proud to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with a series of activities honoring the progress and continued advocacy of the disability community. + On July 26, Los Angeles City Hall will be illuminated in the colors of the Disability Pride Flag as a powerful symbol of visibility and inclusion. This activation is being coordinated in partnership with Council District 13 and the Chair of the Civil Rights, Equity, Aging, and Disability (CREAD) Committee. + On the Department website, you can view history and timeline of the ADA and a special interview with disability rights photographer and advocate Tom Olin. + As part of the celebration, the City also hosted its first-ever ADA 35th Art Showcase, featuring the work of artists with disabilities in recognition of this milestone year.
