  Join our regional ADA Centers and the Knowledge Translation Center as we celebrate two significant milestones: the 36th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the 35th Anniversary of the ADA National Network (ADANN). The mission of the ADA National Network is to increase awareness and knowledge of the ADA, with the ultimate goal of promoting voluntary compliance with the law. This mission is achieved through customized training, technical assistance, research, and the development and dissemination of informational resources. During this two-hour webinar, each of the 10 regional ADA Centers will highlight how they support this mission and the impact their work has had in promoting voluntary compliance and ADA education. Participants will learn more about the resources and initiatives available in their region and how we can continue working together to create a more accessible future. This session will include both Sign Language Interpreters and Real-Time Captioning.

  Join the United States Access Board and The Native American Disability Law Center (NADLC) for a collaborative webinar on polling place accessibility. The Native American Disability Law Center is a private nonprofit organization that advocates for the legal rights of Native Americans with disabilities. This webinar will cover NADLC's report of polling place accessibility in Navajo Nation and Hopi Tribal elections, discuss community-led advocacy to affect changes in accessibility, and discuss strategies and lessons for self-advocates, families, and professionals to utilize in their work. Additional resources on polling place accessibility will be provided. Real-time captioning and sign language interpretation will be provided. Registrants will be able to submit questions in advance during the registration process.

Find out how to stay safe in an emergency. This webinar will show simple steps for making a personal emergency plan, including helpful tools and resources you can use. You’ll learn how to be ready for different situation. Learning objectives Participants will: Learn strategies for creating a support network to assist in an emergency and how this assistance may differ by the type of disaster. Explore what items they may need by their bedside in an emergency. Understand what items are critical for a go bag for themselves and a service animal they may use.
