Technology is integral to many aspects of life including employment. How do persons who are blind or experiencing vision loss search and apply for jobs or perform essential job functions? This session will examine the technologies used by persons who are blind and low vision, how those technologies allow the performance of essential job duties, common barriers encountered in the employment realm and the obligations employers have under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to applicants and employees with disabilities.
