Webinar #1
Service Animals: Beyond the Two Allowable Questions
Date: Thursday - January 23, 2025
Time (1 hour): 10:00 – 11:00 am [Eastern]
In This 4th Thursday ADA Talk:
Customers are barking at you and staff say they can’t do anything. What laws apply when a customer is accompanied by a service animal in a business? What does the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) say about service animals? Should businesses have policies and procedures in place when service animals are present in the business? How do we communicate with customers and staff? Where can we find the answers? What are the current issues and trends regarding service animals?
Complying with the law and managing expectations are the cornerstones of great customer service and organizational leadership. In this webinar, we will examine real world scenarios to help supervisors, managers, owners, decision makers, and service animal handlers develop skills to make sure things are “under control” when service animals are present.
