As the landscape of work is rapidly evolving, flexible work arrangements and accommodations such as telework, and flexible scheduling are increasingly sought after to support the success and retention of a broad range of workers. This session will provide an overview of evaluating such requests under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and practical ways of implementing flexible work accommodations. Additionally, the findings of a multi-year federally funded study regarding the experience of employees with disabilities with such arrangements who work in large businesses will be discussed.
