The Assistive Technology Act authorizes State Technology Act Programs like TechOWL which provide information, technology demonstrations, device loans, and other services related to Assistive Technology (AT) for people with disabilities. Access to Assistive Technology is key to ensuring that people with disabilities have equal access to accommodations in employment, community participation and goods and services under the ADA. TechOWL has taken this one step further by developing a robust 3D-printing program to provide fabricated and customized assistive technology tools for people with disabilities in their state of Pennsylvania. In this session, we will explore their diverse 3D AT catalog, how this program was developed, how it operates, and the benefits of incorporating 3D-printed assistive technology into your own state’s AT program.

Individuals will be able to submit questions for the speaker in advance during the registration process.

Human Generated Real-Time Captioning will be provided for this session.
