The Lincoln Park Zoo welcomes 3.5 million annual guests, employs 250 staff and 300 volunteers, and engages with hundreds of thousands of guests through educational programs and digital media, while striving to live its motto: For Wildlife. For All. During this session, learn how the Lincoln Park Zoo ensures that all visitors, including people with disabilities, have full, just, and integrated access to all zoo experiences. Topics will include integrating infrastructure projects, learning experiences—some co-designed with people with disabilities—staff training, capacity building, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. Participants will have an opportunity to ask the speakers questions following the presentation.
