Many strides have been made for people with disabilities since the passage of the ADA 32 years ago. Having said that, the obligation to provide access to recreation opportunities might not be as broadly understood as other obligations. Join us to review some of the recreation areas covered in the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, focusing on swimming pool access and golf facilities. We will also discuss best practices re: access to public beaches and share some new resources we have developed around recreation accessibility.
