This presentation will cover basic accessibility requirements in the ADA Standards for Accessible Design when constructing or renovating a public school. Starting with the exterior we will discuss accessible parking, accessible routes, entrances, vertical access, toilet rooms, assembly areas, signage, protruding objects, locker rooms and playgrounds.
