The Municipal ADA Coordinator Training Series features four classes which focus on nine topics. The classes are open to all and do not need to be taken in any particular order. They are recommended for the ADA contact in every municipality, organization and business. Every municipality with fifty or more employees is required to designate at least one employee to coordinate ADA compliance. This ensures that municipalities are in compliance with the law and that residents with disabilities have equal access and full enjoyment of the community. If all nine topics are completed, a "CT Municipal ADA Coordinator" certification will be awarded (requires ADACC membership).
