“ADA Live!” (WADA) is a monthly internet-based radio talk show for individuals interested in learning more about their rights and responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  The show airs on the first Wednesday of each month from 1:00 – 1:30 p.m. EST and 12 Noon – 12:30 p.m. CST.  During each live show, real-time captioning is available. You can submit your questions and connect to each show through www.adalive.org.

Mark your calendar and join this month’s informative discussion on Beach Access on Wednesday - July 2, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Eastern).  In this episode, we will discuss how to make a beach accessible to people with disabilities. This episode will examine challenges such as beach and wildlife protections, alterations to an existing beach (including upgrades to parking, circulation path, and restroom facilities) and what defines an accessible route.
