Description:
The interactive process is one of the most important and unique aspects of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). It requires employees and employers to work collaboratively, communicate, and share information, all in an effort to identify an accommodation that is reasonable and effective. Through an in-depth review of recent court cases, participants will learn what courts are saying about the interactive process, as well as practical strategies to help employees and employers engage in the interactive process in good faith.
