Many of the individuals responsible for hiring interpreters are not fluent in sign language and have limited ability to assess an interpreter's skill level and qualifications. Meanwhile, there is growing concern among Deaf individuals regarding the quality of interpreting in a variety of settings, as well as a need to identify measures that can be implemented to ensure access to qualified interpreters.This webinar will focus on what a Certified Deaf Interpreter is and their role in providing effective communication.
