For the past 100 years, Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) under the guidance of the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) has enabled people with disabilities to overcome barriers to accessing, maintaining, or returning to employment.
Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is critical given that the employment of persons with disabilities remains very low when compared to those without a disability. In 2019, only 19% of persons with a disability were in the workforce, as reported by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Join us as we celebrate 100 years of VR with our special guest, the Commissioner of the RSA, Mark Schultz. Discover how VR has changed over the years and gain insight into challenging opportunities for the future.
*Available on Wednesday, October 7 at 1:00 pm [Eastern Time]
