2021 ADA State of the Science Conference

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life. The recent State of the Science Conference highlighted research related to successes and challenges in fulfilling the promise of the ADA.

Each day the virtual conference featured a keynote speaker and research presentations, from the ADA Regional Centers as well as external researchers, focusing on unique themes. Day 1 focused on Employment and Economic Self-Sufficiency, Day 2 focused on Community Development and Planning, and Day 3 focused on Access and Inclusion.
