Figure 82 shows in elevation grab bars at transfer systems. Figure (a) shows the top of the gripping surface to be 4 inches minimum and 6 inches maximum above each step and transfer platform. Figure (b) shows a continuous grab bar with the top of the gripping surface 4 inches minimum and 6 inches maximum above the step nosing and transfer platform.
