In 2006, the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) established a new research
initiative for the ADA National Network:
To generate new knowledge on employment and public access for Americans with disabilities. As a result,
personnel from the ADA National Network, and the Coordination, Outreach, and Research Center (CORC) have
produced an abundance of new ADA and disability policy
research, and have sponsored three research conferences this funding cycle to showcase these findings.

| 2011 | | The 2011 ADA National
Network Research Conference was held on July 12, 2011 in Arlington, Virginia, in collaboration with the
Interagency Committee on Disability Research.

| 2010 | | The 2010 ADA National
Network Research Conference was held May 3-4, 2010, in Alexandria, Virginia, in collaboration with the
NARRTC Conference. Representative researchers from the ADA National Network presented findings on issues
related to the ADA. |

held October 27, 2009, in Arlington, Virginia.
This conference was sponsored in partnership with the National Council on Rehabilitation Education (NCRE),
the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA), and the Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation
(CSAVR). |

The ADA National Network Research Platform
The ADA National Network research platform outlines the research plan of the 10 regional ADA Centers and the Coordination, Outreach, and Research Center (CORC). Many of the research proposals on this list are already in publication. This platform continues to be refined and updated as research is revised and as new research projects are added.
